Out of the Shadows is a devised performance written and directed by Abi Stushnoff, based upon interviews with people living with mental illnesses.
It was first performed by Abi Stushnoff, Rochelle Laplante, Max Stellsted, Niko Larson, Angelina Berlinic, and Julia-Don Edwards at nextNextFest, 2015 (Edmonton, AB).
The performance was further developed for the Paprika Festival, 2018 (Toronto, ON) and adapted into a short video for Rendezvous With Madness Film Festival‘s youth initiative “If You Ask Me.”
