Following the redemption of Ebenezer Scrooge an elderly miser. He is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come in an attempt to prevent Scrooge’s eternal damnation.

This unique retelling included a live band, a sign-language interpretation, and a choral ensemble.  The phantom puppets were the tortured souls that accompanied Marley’s ghost.

MAKING PROCESS

The three Giant Phantom Ghosts’ heads were sculpted with chicken wire and paper machéd. The hands were made from cardboard and paper. Rendered with acrylic paint. The custom aluminum backpacks were made to fit and additional padding was added for comfort.
